Borrowing Periods

Graduate assistants have enhanced borrowing privileges during the term of their appointment.  You need to present an Appointment Card from the Department and your EMU Student ID to receive a GA borrowing card for use in the library.   The following loan terms apply for graduate assistants.

NOTE:  Pay attention to the terms of your appointment!

When your appointment expires, your special GA borrowing privileges also expire. Your longer loan limits revert back to regular student loan limits (see  If you don’t return the item or renew it under your non-GA account, you could rack up serious fines and fees.
