The online library catalog, after twenty years of service, is being retired this summer in favor of a new integrated library system. Library users already familiar with E-Search should hardly notice the switch at all. Library records, however, will look a bit different.
The EMU Library has been evaluating three different streaming video packages, each with it's own collection and access models. We encourage faculty and students to explore them and share their thoughts with a librarian.
Social media platforms are hard enough to choose between but scholars have the added dilemma of selecting scholarly networking services such as ResearchGate and Academia.edu. Our Scholarly Communications Librarian continues in the noble effort of trying to make sense of it all.
