Need Help?

There are a number of ways in which you can contact a librarian at EMU, including:

  • Online Help 24/7
  • Email
  • The EMU Information Desk
  • Subject Specialists

See each of the boxes below for detailed information.

Online Help 24/7

Research assistance is available from librarians at EMU and partner libraries 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Simply look for the "Ask a Librarian" widget that appears on the various pages of the library's website (see the right of this page) and type your question into the appropriate box. See http://www.emich.edu/library/help/ask.php for additional information.

EMU Library Reference Desk

You may contact a librarian at the EMU Library Information Desk at (734) 487-2445. See http://www.emich.edu/library/about/hours.php for specific hours of operation.

Subject Specialists

Have a complicated question? The EMU Library has a number of subject specialists from the library faculty who can help you.  See http://www.emich.edu/library/about/directory/specialist.php for more information or to make an appointment.
