Health & Medical Data Sets

This project began in the 1950s and has included over 15,000 participating families. The focus is on how health and disease are passed between generations, including genetics as well as social, personal, and environmental factors.

Includes national and state-level data from the National Survey of Children’s Health, National Health Interview Survey Child Component, Survey of Pathways to Diagnosis and Services, and National Survey of Children with Special Health Care Needs.

The NCI Office of Cancer Genomics has developed a dynamic resource known as the Pediatric Genomic Data Inventory to allow investigators to more easily locate genomic datasets.
