MGMT 202 - Business Communication (Barley)

Recommended Article Sources

Search in the article databases below for articles for your social media posts and progress memorandums. ProQuest One Business has both scholarly and professional articles. GoogleScholar and PsycINFO have mostly scholarly articles.

These resources search differently than Google does and may seem clumsy to use at first. The content found in library resources are higher quality than many results found freely on the internet. Tips for choosing search terms and quick videos with more search tips farther down the page may make using library databases a bit easier.

Choosing search terms

When searching in databases, use short descriptive bursts of 2-4 words or phrases. They don't have to make sense as a sentence, and you can mix and match. Some suggestions are listed to get you started.

  • online written communication
  • "virtual presentations"
  • nonverbal communication
  • oral communication
  • business communication
  • improve email communication
  • effective eye contact presentation
