May is Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, a time to celebrate the cultures, histories, and contributions of people of Asian and Pacific Islander descent in the United States. This broad heritage includes communities from East Asia, Southeast Asia, South Asia, and the Pacific Islands. At EMU, we celebrate AAPI Heritage Month in April. The items on this guide represent just a small selection of AAPI materials available at EMU Library. The list focuses mainly on novels and memoirs that explore the Asian American and Pacific Islander experience. Looking for more? Our Ask a Librarian service can help you find additional books, films, and other resources. Have a recommendation for our collection or feedback on this guide? We'd love to hear from you! |
