Dermatology Photos of People with Different Skin Tones

Dermatology textbooks and resources include photos of skin conditions, but most of these photos show conditions in people with lighter skin tones. If these are the only dermatological photos that a health care provider has seen, it might be harder for them to accurately assess skin conditions in patients who have different skin tones, leading to these patients receiving lower-quality care.
