Help for Searching the CINAHL and PubMed Databases
CINAHL and PubMed are two of the most widely used databases in health sciences research.
CINAHL is a database that indexes journals, books, dissertations, research instruments, etc., in all of the allied health professions. Results can be limited by different criteria, such as age groups, publication type, and language. Because it is a paid subscription database, off-campus access is limited to members of the EMU community. You must use your NetID or my.emich credentials to log in.

PubMed is a database that indexes journal articles in the life sciences, concentrating on biomedical information. PubMed is created and is maintained by the National Library of Medicine and the National Institutes of Health, and contains all of the citations in Medline, plus additional citations and services.
