Creative Commons Licenses

There are six Creative Commons licenses.

All of them require giving credit, or attribution, to the creator.

The licenses differ in

  • whether they allow modifications (derivative works)
  • what types of licenses they require of derivative works
  • if they permit reuse for commercial purposes

For more information about the licenses, visit the
Creative Commons' "About the Licenses" page.
