Databases: Searching & Navigating

Help searching and navigating the library's research databases and online resources.

1. Choose the "Databases" box.

From the library's homepage, select the box titled "Databases."

2. Locate your database using one of the following methods.

If you know the name of the database that you want, you can either:

a.) type its name into the "Database Title/Keyword" search box, or

b.) select the letter that it begins with.

If you don't know the name of the database, you can browse by subject area, material type, or vendor using the supplied filters.

3. Select the desired database.

Find the database that you want to search and select its name.

Research Tip!

Note that some databases have instructional materials linked from their entry. If you are not familiar with searching the database, be sure to investigate.
