How to Locate and Access Standards

The following sources contain databases and sets of various engineering standards. Many sets are openly available to the public.

The library does not maintain subscriptions to the standards, however, you can request access through:

Illiad Interlibrary Loan
Request materials from other libraries to be delivered by email or mail.
ANSI University Outreach Program
ISO and IEC Standards may be available to individual classes upon request. Visit the ANSI website for more information.
UM Public Computer - Engineering Resource Access
EMU students are allowed to visit the University of Michigan Libraries public computers to access their Engineering resources (listed in the link).

Locating Standards

Annual Book of ASTM Standards - 2019
The library has a full set of ASTM standards from 2000 as well as 2019. Visit the link to acquire the standards from the ARC or request for digitization.

Engineering. electronics, computer science, and technology information from IEEE Electronic Library includes full-text access to journals, conference proceedings, and standards.
