National Survey of State Laws
The National Survey of State Laws provides state statutory code citations to a wide range of legal topics and controversial social and cultural issues. Examples of the 43 topics covered include lemon laws, computer crimes, whistleblowers, child abuse, protective orders and stalking.

Statutory Law
An act, or statute, by a legislature -- U.S. Congress or state legislature--declaring, commanding or prohibiting.
Case (Judicial) Law
Decisions of a court on the outcome of a trial or hearing. Often interprets statutory law.
Regulations (Administrative Law)
A body of law created by governmental agencies in the form of rules, regulations and procedures.
