"The Center For Entrepreneurship at Eastern Michigan University is proud to host the Skandalaris Business Plans Competition; the only competition in Michigan that includes university, community college and K-12 students of the Midwest region, competing in separate categories for thousands in cash prizes. Participants are required to have a faculty advisor, which gives support to the entrepreneurship program efforts that are developing in Midwest schools."

"Companies to Watch (CTW) is a unique awards program developed by the Edward Lowe Foundation to honor second-stage companies that demonstrate high performance in the marketplace, exhibit innovative products or processes, or otherwise make those companies worth watching."
