A simple exercise that allows you to match your preferences, skills, and personality to six career type groups. Careers are listed for each group and the career titles are linked to the Occupational Outlook Handbook description for each career. The EMU Career Resource Center can administer a more detailed career interest test.

The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is an assessment of personality preferences and how they relate to occupations. Students can take the "official" MBTI at the EMU Career Resource Center, call the Center (487-0400) for an appointment.
