ERC - Education Resource Collection

Print materials
The ERC is a collection of K-12 textbooks and other curricular materials provided to support EMU students in curriculum and teaching methods courses.  There is a print collection on the 2nd floor of the EMU Library (north side), near EMU's extensive collection of children's literature.  The print ERC materials are for in-library use. Books from the Children's Literature collection can be checked out. The guides linked below may help in using the Children's collection. There may be additional lesson planning materials in the library's general collection that can be found using Esearch.

Electronic materials
In addition, this guide provides links to K-12 open education resources (OER) and other free curricular materials on the web, as well as e-books and relevant databases that can be accessed with an EMU NetID. The databases and e-books from the Michigan Electronic Library, can also be accessed by Michigan residents at mel.org
