Fortune 500 & 1000This page lists the Fortune 500 & Fortune 1000. It takes a lot of patience to scroll through the entire list!
Alternatively, you can search for a specific company, pull up a list of the Fortune 1000 companies from a particular industry, or a list by state location of the headquarters. (Note: you may have to scroll past ads to see the full lists)
You can also sort the lists by various financial factors, such as sales, profits, profits as a % of sales, etc.
Note: As of Fall 2021, the Fortune website no longer makes these lists freely available. -
More Rankings from Fortune magazineFortune compiles an annual list of America's largest corporations. There are also links to related lists such as Global 500, Fastest-Growing Companies, Fortune 1000 companies by state, America's Most Admired Companies, Best Companies to Work For, etc. Note that these are no longer fully available for free from the Fortune website.

Fortune's 100 Best Companies to Work ForFortune magazine does an "annual ranking of companies that rank high with employees." There is brief information on "what makes it so great for each company." Also statistics on number of employees, percent of minority employees, percent of women employees, job growth, number of applicants per year, percent voluntary turnover, and salaries. Besides the top 100 list, the site has lists for best benefits and top-paying companies.
