Finding Books in Esearch

Use Esearch to find out if the Library has a specific title you want or what the Library has on a topic.

Does the library have a specific title?

  1. Start at the Library homepage (emich.edu/library).
  2. Type in the title of the book in quotes (for example, "the cambridge history of the first world war"). Hit your enter key or click on the magnifying glass to search.
  3. If you retrieve a single result, there you go! But, if you retrieve a list of items, you need to refine your results.
Look at the left hand side of the screen for the "Refine your search" options.
Click on the box for "Library Catalog" to find print or ebook versions of the title.
Click of the box for "Print Books" to find only print books,  or click on "eBooks" to limit your results to eBooks only.

Click on the box for "Library Catalog" to find print or ebook versions of the title.
