Many publicly funded research projects are required to share their data products. Top science journals have data sharing requirements as well.

Data can be found in many ways: 

• Check data repositories. See the list of repositories listed below or contact the STEM Librarian to locate others
• Look in published research articles. Supplemental material often links to datasets.
• Look in data journals.
• Look in statistics databases like Statista to search for links to source data.
• Contact researchers directly.
