The EMU Library has a three-year Read-and-Publish agreement with Oxford University Press (OUP) covering 2025–2027. This agreement allows EMU corresponding authors to publish open access research, review, case report, and brief report articles in most OUP hybrid and gold open access journals without paying article processing charges (APCs).
What is Read-and-Publish?
This type of agreement combines a traditional subscription (read access) with coverage of open access publishing fees (APCs). Eligible authors can make their work freely available without individual payment.
**Key Points:**
The corresponding author must be affiliated with EMU to qualify for APC waivers.
Eligible article types include research articles, review articles, case reports, and brief report articles published in standard journal issues. Articles published in journal supplements and book reviews are not eligible.
