Select the "Books & E-books" link from the main search screen on the library's homepage.
Type your search terms into the Esearch box and select "Search." If you are looking for a particular book, search for its title and surround it with quotes (e.g., "Ypsilanti Histories: A look back at the last fifty years").
Look through the results to find a relevant book.
Select the book's title. This will take you to a detailed record showing its availability (whether it is an e-book or physical book) as well as its location, call number, etc.
If it is an e-book, select the "Available online" icon or an option from the "View Online" heading to access the full-text.
If it is a physical copy, use the location and call number to find the book on the shelf or, if in ARC Storage, place a request to have it retrieved for you (see Requesting Items for more information).
Most online resources (databases, books, articles) are available from off-campus to all currently registered EMU students, faculty and staff.
Not a registered EMU user? See Alumni & Visitors for more information.
