1. Check the item's status.

Look at the item's Esearch record to determine if it is available. 

Note that all items that are in ARC Storage or checked out (not available) after searching Esearch should be retrieved by placing a request. Items on the 2nd and 3rd floors can also be requested, or you can get them from the shelves.

2. Access the item's detailed record.

Select the item's title in Esearch to access its detailed record. 

3. Sign-in.

Look for the "Sign In" link (under the "Get It" heading) and use your NetID and password to access the system.

4. Request the item.

Choose the "Pickup" option (under the "Get It" heading). You should receive a confirmation message indicating that your request was successful.

You will receive an email when the item is ready for pickup.

5. Pick up the item.

After receiving the email that your item is ready, pick it up at the Library Services Desk.
